Dear brothers and sisters,

I wish to inform you that we will no longer be able to offer the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Mass after Sunday, February 2, 2025. 

The decision to end this Mass time was made after consultation with the Parish Leadership Team. It follows a directive from Bishop Earl Fernandes that scheduled Masses have attendance of at least 50% of capacity. The decision also recognizes that I will be the sole priest at SJN for the foreseeable future. In addition, while I am very grateful for the volunteers who assist at this Mass, it needs to be noted that it has been extremely difficult to get a sufficient number to do so.

Mass Intentions that are registered for this time will be transferred as soon as possible. Sunday evening Youth Ministry programming will continue as usual at 6:00 p.m. 

All are welcome to join us at SJN to celebrate Eucharist on Saturdays at the weekly Vigil Mass at 4:00 p.m., and on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and please continue to pray for me as I strive to shepherd this amazing parish family.
