Big Walnut Friends Who Share Christmas Drive & Annual Food Drive
November 22–30
St. John Neumann is collecting 60 (40 oz) cans of yams and 60 (16 oz) cans of frosting mix for the Family Christmas Boxes.
We are also holding our second annual food drive for BWFWS. Items most needed include:
- Ramen noodles
- Cereal
- Canned meats (roast beef, turkey, ham)
- Salad dressing
- Pasta sauce
- Non-spaghetti pasta
- Canned oranges and pineapple
- Rice and noodle side dishes
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Flour
- Ketchup, mustard, and mayo

Big Walnut Friends Who Share(BWFWS) is a local outreach group composed of representatives from the community and 13 area churches. This group operates a food pantry and provides material assistance such as food, clothing, furniture, and appliances to needy families and individuals in the Big Walnut School District.
Volunteer times are as follows:
– Every Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:30 a m
– Second, third, and fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p. m. (A St. John Neumann group volunteers on the third Tuesday.)
– Every Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p. m.
– Senior Saturday – Second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a. m. to 12 noon
